How To Get There

For all crewed yacht charters you will join the yacht at Portomontenegro in Tivat, this is about 50kms south of Dubrovnik airport in the Republic of Montenegro. The closest airport for our crewed charter base is Tivat (TIV) airport about 5kms away and €5 taxi fare. Unfortunatly there are no directflights to Tivat other than from Belgrade and Moscow. You can try JAT from London to Tivat via Belgrade.Transfers from Dubrovnik can be arranged from € 80-120 each way depending on numbers. There is also a convenient coach service from Dubrovnik city connecting with the yachts at Tivat. Bareboat: For bareboat charters it will depend on where your yacht is based as to which airport Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik or Tivat you should fly to. Please ask our advice, although all our Croatian and Montenegrin partners offer transfers from City, ferry and Airports to the yachts.

The Direct Way

Montenegro:

Direct flights to Podgorica and Tivat:

Podgorica about, 75 - 90 mins transfer time is often the easiest route to the yachts as there is only on set of borders to contend with and convenient direct flights from London Gatwick arriving Sunday afternoons.,Unfortunatly there are no longer any direct flighst to Tivat; you will need to fly to Belgrade and change. Try JAT airways

Flying into Dubrovnik:

Dubrovnik (DBV) airport is only 50 KMS by road from our base at Porto Montenegro and is served by a number of no frills airlines. You may find flightsinto Dubrovnik cheaper and more convenient particularly if you are intending to spend some time in this unique city. We can arrange transfers and there is a good coach service connecting Tivat and Dubrovnik.

British airways from London Gatwick

Croatian Airlines from London Heathrow and Gatwick

Usually the best option is to fly to Belgrade and transfer on to JAT or Montenegrin airlines down to Tivat Most European hubs have direct flights to Belgrade. Both Easy Jet and German wings fly from Berlin to Dubrovnik and have connecting flights to/ from Berlin from a number of European destinations.

Travelling by Ferry from Italy

The closest port to our base in Tivat is Kotor . Azzurra lines sail from Bari to Kotor weekly in the peak season. In the summer ferriesalso operate from Ancona and Bari to Dubrovnik and Bari to Bar both ports are within an hours travel of our base at Tivat. They are operated by Montenegrolines . Jadrolinja and Azzurraline

Onward travel

We are often chosen by guests who would like to extend their time in Montenegro or Croatia either before or after sailing with us in order to visit Dubrovnik , Plitivice lakes or maybe Slavonia, Bled in Slovenia or inland Montenegro. Trips to Mostar, Cetinje ,the Tara river and Canyons Durmitor Lovcen and the forest of Biogradska are a perfect balance to the time you will spend afloat with us.
