We operate two luxury fifty-one footers on the Adriatic coast available for cabin or exclusive charter.
The Sailing Yachts 'Lazy Penelope' and 'Teja' are 51 foot Jeanneau Sun Odyssesy performance cruisers capable of making good passage times but still providing a very high level of comfort below decks. Your yacht for your time with us, the vessels are unbranded; after all you wouldn't hire a Porsche if it had a Hertz rent a car decal on the door!
The yachts are Croatian flagged and conform to all relevant Croatian Charter regulations and international safety standards. The yachts hold all the necessary licenses, registrations and safety certificates. Charters should note that only Croatian flagged vessels can offer charter in Croatian waters, please check before you book elsewhere!
The identical yachts boast four double cabins sleeping 6/8 or 10 guests depending how your party is made up, number of small children and the number of crew required. We can offer sailing for groups of up to 16 adults. Each cabin has it's own en-suite wc, basin and shower, so sharing is not necessary on the boat. Pressurised hot water and hairdryers are supplied to each cabin. There is a separate crew cabin which can be utilised when the boat is full with its own separate entrance.
The Forward cabins port and starboard have a flexible layout allowing you to convert the doubles into twin bunks or possibly a double and a single for children or very good friends use!
The saloon offers a dinning table to seat all guests in comfort and is fitted with a TV / DVD and music system, with cockpit speakers, for playing your CD and MP3s. We can play your Ipod through the yachts sound system. For those sailing with us very early or out of season Lazy Penelope and Teja have central heating. Bed linen and towels are supplied and changed each week.
The galley is fitted with fridge, oven and four burner hob. When in a marina 240 volt supply is available. Power inverters provide mains electricity whilst at sea for charging phones cameras, Ipods etc. Lazy Penelope has an ice maker and generator.
Topside our yachts are well equipped for Mediterranean cruising with large cockpit and table for alfresco dining, BBQ for the fish you catch! And bimini to keep off the lunchtime sun. The deck provides ample sun bathing area and there is a shower at the top of the swim ladder to wash out the salt.
Following an extensive refit in 2004 and on going improvements since, including new teak decks, soft furnishings and sails, the Lazy Winch fleet is the envy of many as they pass gracefully between the Islands.
