The Company
Lazy Winch Yachting Lazy Winch Ltd. a family run, independent and boutique yachting company with offices in Croatia, Montenegro and the UK. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and strive to make your precious time away as pleasurable as possible. No call centres or kids on gap years in our offices; when you speak to us you talk with someone who knows the coast and islands intimately. We can tell you the sailing possibilities, how to get there, advice on extending your stay after your sailing holiday and activities such as diving or rafting. There just is no substitute for personal experience.

Now in our 7th Season! We specialise in Dubrovnik,Croatia and Montenegrin sailing holidays and have a detailed knowledge of the Dalmatian coast. We offer crewed charter, cabin charter, learn to sail holidays on our own yachts and are Yacht brokers for bareboat and Gulet charter. We are happy to supply references from previous charterers from around the world.
Our bareboat partners in Croatia and Montenegro are chosen by us for not only for the quality of their fleets but also the quality of their service. These companies, and most of the boats, are known to us personally. We are not tied to any one provider and can therefore offer you the best possible yacht from selected charter bases along the Adriatic. By using us as a charter broker we can use our local knowledge to find you the most suitable yacht for your group and negotiate for you the best prices. We are paid by the fleet owners so our service costs you nothing!

The Crews
On our own yachts as a minimum the British skippers will be RYA /MCA commercially endorsed offshore Yachtmasters with many years sailing and Mediterranean experience, making your holiday both safe and enjoyable.
It is possible to hire a housekeeper for the duration of your stay on board and this will be necessary if you want to eat regularly on board in the evenings or if you need a baby sitter. The housekeeper will assist in the preparation of food, victualing, service cabins daily, clean, serve drinks, baby-sit. The housekeeper will need a cabin so this reduces the number of guests to six adults.
The crew get one day a week off.
